Luca Stricagnoli meets music lovers on April 3 at CSO Ada Ankara – Mavi Salon!

With over 200 million views on his music videos online and performances across the globe, Luca Stricagnoli is regarded as one of the most unique guitarists of our time. His highly creative style—leading to the invention of instruments such as the Reversed Triple Neck Guitar and the Reversed Slide Neck—has made a major contribution to the modern evolution of acoustic guitar. Renowned publications including NME, Guitar World, Der Spiegel, La Repubblica, Daily Sabah, and Frankfurter Allgemeine have described him as a “phenomenon” and a “genius.”

Through his music, Luca has performed in more than 20 countries, playing for audiences of up to 12,000 people, and has even caught the attention of world-famous bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, and Walk Off The Earth. He began his musical journey at the age of 10 with classical guitar training and later continued his education at one of Italy’s most prestigious conservatories. After winning first prize at the “Città di Lissone” competition, he proved himself in the field of classical guitar. He then discovered the fingerstyle guitar genre and began teaching himself advanced techniques through YouTube videos.

Luca won first prize with a perfect 100/100 score at the VII Festival Internazionale della Chitarra di Fiuggi, received the Festival dei Talenti award, and earned the opportunity to perform in front of the legendary Italian band New Trolls. During this period, he met Italian luthier Davide Serracini, with whom he began a long-term collaboration. In the following years, Luca developed his own unmistakable style, incorporating innovations such as violin bows, playing multiple guitars simultaneously, modified capos, and unconventional tunings.

His major breakthrough came when his arrangement of “The Last of the Mohicans” was released by Candyrat Records. The piece quickly reached millions of listeners and led to an offer for his debut album. The album’s lead track, his interpretation of “Thunderstruck,” reached 14 million views within weeks, opening the door to worldwide concert invitations. After an intense touring period, Luca released his second album, “What If?”, which featured groundbreaking ideas—most notably the Reversed Triple Neck Guitar, a first in guitar history—that went viral online. This success led to performances at exclusive events for Nobel Prize laureates and top-level CEOs, and his music appeared on numerous television programs.

Luca launched his own YouTube channel, gaining hundreds of thousands of followers and earning a Creator Award. He also collaborated with his wife, award-winning singer-songwriter Meg Pfeiffer. Together, they won the European Songwriting Award and 10 different awards at the German Rock & Pop Awards, achieving major success with their joint tours. With his third album, “Change of Rules,” Luca introduced new inventions such as the Guitar Ring and the Reversed Slide Neck. The Reversed Slide Neck, in particular, attracted widespread attention online and was praised by New Atlas, one of the world’s leading science and technology publications.

Performing around 100 concerts per year, Luca’s career spans an extraordinary range—from small-town venues to massive arenas like Tel Aviv’s Nokia Arena, from private events for brands such as Formula 1, Hard Rock Hotel, Infosys, and BNSF Railways, to sold-out concerts in philharmonic halls and prestigious theaters. He has led workshops at universities, performed on national television and at international festivals, and served as a jury member at international guitar competitions. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with Grammy-winning or nominated artists such as Jim “Kimo” West, Linda Briceño, and Debashish Bhattacharya, as well as many acclaimed musicians including William Joseph, Caroline Campbell, Sona Jobarteh, Lulo Reinhardt, Antoine Dufour, Cenk Erdoğan, Antoine Boyer, Samuelito, Calum Graham, Crystian Dozza, Thu Le, and Alexandra Whittingham.

Recently, Luca Stricagnoli founded his own music company and regularly hosts the renowned International Guitar Night event.
